Meet your host Sarah Whitfield who has been in hospitaility for the last 30 years.

Garthgate Holiday Cottage has been a real labour of love, having renovated a building on our site and then opened in July 2023.

This cottage has been designed as somewhere I would like to stay and has all the home comforts that you would need for a really relaxing stay in beautiful countryside, that is North Yorkshire.

Sustainability is also important to us, so the site is heated by an air sourced heat pump and Solar PV.
