Although if you go once, you are likely to go back time and time again - a visit to this picturesque place, which has so much going on, feels like a breath of fresh air.
For a day at the beach, venture to Scarborough, host to South Bay and Scarborough Beach or admire the wonderful ruins of Scarborough Castle which offers imposing views over the magnificent coastline. The nearest beach to Garthgate is Cayton Bay which is only 30 minutes away.
