The cottage is absolutely beautiful, the hot tub is lovely and makes you feel so chilled.
The welcome pack again wonderful. Sarah is a lovely lady and we would love to come back again.
Malton is lovely old town and the Ham & Cheese local pub is a traditional pub and you can get a nice meal.
Our stay has not been long enough, thank you Sarah.

We have had such an amazing time here at Garthgate cottage over the last few days.
After making the decision to visit Yorkshire for our 2 year anniversary we wanted to find the perfect place for us to celebrate and honestly we could not have chosen anywhere better.
Sarah has put so much thought and care into the cottage and you can tell her passion for every detail, the cleanliness, the decor, the local produce hamper and so much more.
We definitely hope to return to this lovely home.

Well, well, well! where do we start. This hands down has to be the best place we have ever stayed in. The place has everything, coffee machine, toaster, cake mixer, its incredible.
Sarah should be so very proud of what she has created with Garthgate.
We will most definitely be returning for another get away and for sure recommending to others this wonderful place.
The generosity with the hampers just adds a unique but special touch to your stay and we very much thank you.

Fantastic stay! By far the highest standard of accommodation and welcome we've experienced. Will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Homely cottage with all creature comforts thought of.

We try to spend New Year somewhere different each year and I stumbled across this little gem by accident and am so glad I did. This place is perfect, absolutely spotless. The hot tub is immaculate and everything is provided. I have never stayed anywhere so clean and well equipped had some lovely jaunts out to Pickering, York and spent NYE in Whitby, but was happy to come back and relax in the lovely warm cottage.

This is my 3rd year staying in Garthgate Holiday Cottage for a little Christmas getaway and I have an amazling time each year. The cottage is so clean and cosy making you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. It has everything you could need and more and you can tell how much work has been put into it, to ensure you are comfortable throughout your stay. I loved all the little extras such as the LED candles in the bathroom for a bath by candle light and I also enjoyed going in the hot tub, after lots of walks and exploring nearby towns. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I hope to be returning again next year.

Wow, what a welcome !
The best cottage we've ever stayed in. So well equipped, spotlessly clean, cosy and homely.
The hot tub was a lovely added bonus.

We had a lovely relaxing stay & this cottage has to be the best we have every stayed in for quality & comfort 'stunning' is the word I used on arrival.
We were blown away that everything we needed was there and more.
Sarah is a wonderful friendly lady and was very helpful even when my husband lost the key (Thankfully found & returned by a local lady )
We would love to return soon hopefully with better weather next time.
The chocolates and lemon drizzle cake were delicious.

What a wonderful place to stay. It is the best one we've ever stayed in. I don't want to tell anyone how good it is, so its not booked out when we want to stay again.
Everything was superb. Sarah has really thought of everything. The welcome basket was wonderful, the cookies were delicious. We loved the hot tub, especially on cold/dark nights.
We will definitely be back loved it.

Far surpassed our expectations. Sarah has thought of everything, even down to complementary gifts. The welcome basket was amazing. The cottage is immaculate, everything is quality and so comfortable. You can tell Sarah takes pride and care with the cottage. The hot tub is always a bonus, for us this did not disapoint. The cleanest hot tub I have ever seen. We wil definitely be coming back to this amazing cottage. Thank you so much.
